LIGHT ON THE HILL RECORDS

Before launching Light on the Hill Records, founders Matthew Alberico and Fernando DePina spent decades building their careers in the New York and New Jersey music scene. Their journey included performing at legendary venues such as The Stone Pony and Shea Stadium, being part of a group featured on Good Morning America, working with That ’70s Show actress Lisa Robin Kelly, and having their music featured in a Julia Roberts film. Their songwriting also caught the attention of Sony, leading to an offer for a songwriting deal.

After years in the mainstream music industry, Matt and Fern felt called to use their experience for a greater purpose. They founded Light on the Hill Records and pioneered what they call “Redemption Music”—music built around faith, hope, real-life struggles, and second chances.

Today, they write, produce, develop artists, and release music with distribution through Sony’s The Orchard, taking a career that began on major stages and in mainstream entertainment and transforming it into a mission to bring hope and light through music.
