LIGHT ON THE HILL

Light On The Hill is a passionate Christian rock band based in Jersey City, New Jersey, delivering uplifting, faith-driven music that shines a beacon of hope in a challenging world. 

The band features Tommy Tornatore, Matthew Alberico (often referred to as Alberico), and Fernando DePina (Fern), who bring decades of experience in songwriting, production, and artist development to their powerful sound. Rooted in the vibrant artistic scenes of New York and New Jersey, Light on the Hill is closely tied to Light on the Hill Records, co-founded by Matthew Alberico and Fernando DePina. 

The label and band share a mission to spread positive, redemptive messages centered on Jesus Christ offering stories of struggle, salvation, and submission to a higher purpose amid life's darkness. Known for their anthemic singles that blend rock energy with heartfelt spiritual lyrics: Unstoppable - a rallying cry of resilience and faith. 

Who's Your King - an empowering track questioning allegiances and proclaiming divine sovereignty. Angels and Saints — evoking heavenly inspiration and the communion of believers. Submission — a bold declaration that true freedom comes through surrender to God's will.  With driving rhythms, soaring melodies, and lyrics that confront real-life trials while pointing to redemption, Light on the Hill invites listeners to find light in the darkness.

Nicole Tillman-Johnson is a featured singer with Light on the Hill Records and a seasoned professional performer. Her credits include the West Coast Regional Premiere of Rent (Los Angeles), Sister Mary Clarence in Sister Act, Anita in West Side Story, and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet at London’s Globe Theatre. She owns and leads East Coast cover band Tragic Remedy, co-founded worship band The Promise, and serves as Director of Worship at Shore Christian Church—all glory to God, with heartfelt thanks to her husband and family. 

Nicole Tillman Johnson is a new artist signed to Light On The Hill Records. She is currently in development to release new music, perform, and showcase her talent to the world.

Debbie's journey with music began at the tender age of four, igniting a passion for performance that has only grown stronger over the years. While her love for singing was always present, it wasn't until the early nineties that she fully committed to honing her craft. This dedication led her to secure an emcee position with an esteemed entertainment company, where she found herself gracing the stage at countless events.

Her talent has taken her to prestigious venues such as the Crossroads Theatre Company in New Brunswick and the iconic Tropicana in Atlantic City, where she has left audiences in awe with her captivating performances.

With two singles, "Reign" and "In the Wind," released under Light on The Hill Records, Debbie continues to make her mark in the music industry. Currently, she is channeling her creativity into producing videos and crafting new songs, poised to make an even bigger impact this year.

Through her music, Debbie seeks to inspire and uplift listeners, offering messages of hope and solidarity in the face of life's challenges. Her lyrics resonate with the trials and triumphs of everyday life, serving as a beacon of comfort and reassurance to all who listen. With a steadfast commitment to making a difference, Debbie strives to use her music as a catalyst for positive change, touching hearts and transforming lives wherever her melodies may reach.
